Enjoy dinner with friends and an entertaining film following your meal. Admission to the dinner and a movie program is $10 for center members and $15 for nonmembers. BOOK RAP

Love to read? Love to read? Come join our book rap! Readers are welcome to attend any one or all monthly discussions. The list can be found in our program book and the book of the month is in each newsletter. Admission is free for center members and $5 per discussion for nonmembers. PICKLEBALL

The Pickleball craze is sweeping the nation!  Pickleball was invented in the mid 1960’s and designed to be easy-to-learn and play for all ages.  This sport is a cross between badminton, tennis and Ping-Pong.  It’s a racquet sport in which two to four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite material to hit a whiffle ball over the net.

For intermediate – advanced level of play, join us every Monday from 5:30 – 8 p.m., Thursday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and Sunday morning from 8 – 10 a.m., running October – May in the J.C.C. gymnasium.

Programming from end of May – end of Sept. is typically played outdoors at the New Hartford Town Park, weather permitting. Rain/humidity/air quality may affect programming and will then be held indoors at the J.C.C. if space is available.

Admission is $6 per night / $4 for members.

For beginner players, please visit us every Friday from 2:30 – 4 p.m., $5/person, year-round.

Beginner pickleball on Mondays will resume in mid-September, from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m., $6/person.

ADULT CO-ED COMPETITIVE PICK-UP VOLLEYBALL

The J.C.C. has installed a brand new volleyball net system in the gymnasium. Rental is $75/hour for the use of the net system and gymnasium.
