Welcome to the JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER PRESCHOOL

For many parents, finding a school that is right for their child can be very challenging.  You
want to find a school and staff that will help your child to grow and be happy. The JCC
Preschool has been caring for preschool children since 1972.

At the JCC, our goal is to provide a nurturing and caring environment where children can
develop social and academic skills that will benefit them their entire lives. The JCC offers
TODDLER, THREE YEAR OLD, FOUR YEAR OLD and SUMMER CAMP programs.

The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." ~Dr. Suess

At the JCC Preschool, we believe in helping give your child the best, right from the start. Our program, which is open to children of all races, religions and nationalities, fosters a sense of achievement, self reliance, self esteem and self discipline. We seek to enhance the joy of creativity and spark children’s imagination while providing a foundation for formal education.

The curriculum is based on meeting the educational and developmental needs of children between the ages of 20 months and five years old. Children may attend some or all of our classes from two to five days a week. Our various classes give children an opportunity to explore and create. In addition, the children enjoy the outdoors in our fenced-in playground, romp in our full size gym or play in our indoor play area.

Our program is enriched by additional classes such as Musaerobics taught by Joanne Yacovella and Healthy Kids taught by each classroom teacher. There is also a Parent Group for every parent to become involved and get to know new people in the Preschool. Most of our teachers have backgrounds in education, psychology or related fields. They are committed to giving each child a sound and stimulating Preschool experience.
